It's true, isn't it? The Spring Always Comes. We needn't even do anything, She shows up year after year in all her glory, emerging with renewal, hope, life, promise and oh, the flowers. Spring is like an organic refresh button.
Spring is one of God's gifts reminding us to flourish, that renewal is an essential part of life.
Do you ever feel like you want to press the refresh button? Spring seems to invite us to do so, doesn't it? It's my favorite season, and the flowers, yes, they're my favorite subject matter when I design. It's because I value all that they and Spring represent to me. I hold dearly a fervor for freshness and renewal.
We refreshed our website, created new biz cards (thanks for your input on that over here), have signed contracts with new clients, and I am creating from from my heart which is to say I am reaching for and breathing life into my joy. My soul feels soooooo good. We may even open a shop again. Still thinking 'bout that for the moment.
I wonder if you too are reaching for and breathing life into your joy - are you? Joy arrives in the sweetest, simplest of ways when we are open to seeing and experiencing it, by way of the touch of your beloved's hand on your face, the blossiming of a flower, the little hummingbird flying just outside your kitchen window, the smile from a passerby, an unsolicited "I love you, Mom" from your child. These are precious gifts, simple (yet oh so meaningful) pleasures each day offers.
Yes, the Spring always comes. We need only seek Him, Believe in his word, Trust in His promise and then . . . let go.
