How are you, today? I am continuing my rehab for my shoulder surgery - all went well, and I'm able to use my arm more and more each day. As a matter of fact, I played a bit in my studio this weekend, without a care nor intended direction. It felt good to get messy and create simply for fun.
I was inspired by an email I received from Tiffany Warble with Interweave, (Cloth, Paper, Scissors is one my my creative favorite mags), to check out some of their ebooks. She shared this free prompt and I wanted to pass it along and share with you:
These are just a few free collage projects:

I created my collage above, "Your heart is bloomin' beautiful" using:
a 9x13 canvas board
tissue paper
gesso
acrylic paint, ink
paper from the days when I designed scrapbook paper
a little scrap of linen fabric for the ribbon
a wooden heart collaged with an original water color I cut to fit
What do you think?
Do you live a handmade life, a creative life? How do you create space for creative expression? Do you prefer to do so in solitude or in community? I much prefer community.
Creativity is oh so much more than artistic talent. Each of us has the ability to be creative when we know how to tap into this deep well within us. By harnessing the power of our creativity, we discover new solutions to familiar problems and can realize our highest dreams.
Discover your creative spirit!
I am home recovering from shoulder surgery as well!
