Hello Blog Friends,
I've been absent for a bit, I know . . .taking time to simply be, and trying to create some balance between being a working mom and my girls being out of school for the summer.
I've decided to take the day off each Monday so we can go to the beach, go shopping or take whatever fun outing we can for the day. This past Monday we enjoyed a wonderful, wonderful day at the Santa Monica Pier, having lunch at Bubba Gumps, eating cotton candy, and they rode the roller coaster. Then we drove thru the villiage near UCLA.
What kinds of things do you do with your kids during the summer? Hope it's a bright, happy summer for all of you.

Show time is around the corner, and so many of us who license our art are thinking ahead with our designing to 2013. I think one of the most oft asked questions of an artist/designer is, "Where do you find your inspiration?" My answer is usually, "Where don't I..." Absolutely everything I see is a source of inspiration for me.

Hey, we have really BIG, BIG, BIG news to share with you next time . . .been waiting for the green light to talk about it; all the samples are sitting the studio waiting to be photographed. Can you guess? You will just have to come back and visit to hear about it :o) I am sooooooo excited about this partnership.
In keeping with my endeavor to experience some balance, I've set aside some time to have lunch with my dear friend Jane today - so off I go.
