hello, hello friends,
as we busy ourselves preparing for the holidays I wanted take a moment to express my gratitude to each and every one of you who make time in your day to visit my creative corner here, to see what I'm up to.
I have a gift for you . . .details follow the end of the post . . .
I posted this pic on my fb page this past week - I don't have memory of the photo being taken.
I do know I was all of 6 or 7, and this was the year
i
saw
Santa
Clause!
Really, really - he walked out our front door wishing me "Merry Christmas."
He gave me a Tumblina doll - and that was all - but she was my baby. The baby I could hold, rock, comfort, and love, and love her I did, with all my heart!
This is my brother Bill King, sister Cheryl, and brother Michael King, and little me, Terri King (then).
It's a bitter- sweet little photo because I do not know where my two brothers are or even if they're warm, safe and feel any sense of love in their lives (oh, how I hope for them).
There is so much a photo does not reveal, like the yearning in the hearts of these four small children, the complex thoughts in their young minds, and the story that tore them apart from one another.
I want to share "the story" with you, (and I will in the new year) because I know in my heart my journey will be just what one, two, three or more of you may need to hear to know the coming new year, in the coming new decade awaits
hope fulfilled
the unfolding of a miracle
a path of plenty revealed
a peace filled heart
for your spirit,
you mind
and your life to soar
to its highest heights.
Christmas is a miracle in itself - my hope is that you and yours will unwrap all the gifts this precious miracle has to offer you.
