The bird's song . . . sweetly, softly

I'm still here . . . creating behind the scenes, taking care of business, family, sometimes myself (oh to have more hours in my day).  How are all of you?  Eternal optimism has been on my mind lately and I feel the need to write on this topic - I have a hunch we all need a dose of it now & again.  Next post . . .I promise.

If I were a bird . . . I would most certainly live here -

I adore bird houses, and our feathered friends. Marie Sporring created these delightful houses using my Hello! Beautiful and Sweet Charity papers.

I am certain that all the birds who dine in my yard each morning would love these as much as I.

"Be as a bird, perched on a fragile branch that she feels bending beneath her, still she sings away all the same, knowing she has wings."  Hmm, sounds like this little bird is singing to the tune of eternal optimism.

O Happy Day! Can't we all use just a little bit more time? I know I could have this past weekend.  We began ours with daughter, Jessica's vollyball practice Friday eve, VB game Saturday morning, then off to our daughter Katelyn's (jazz) dance recital, returning on Sunday (mind you it's a hour drive each way) for her hip-hop recital.  Lot's of fun & excitement, each performed beautifully, and made mom & dad very proud. 

Remember, Time is the precious coin of your life.  It is the only coin you have, and only you can determine how it will be spent.  Be careful lest you let other people spend it for you.

May miracles sprinkle on your garden today and may you find time along the way!
