OMG! Friends, this is indeed big news! for which I am so grateful.  Way back in the day, I entered a post on Pulling Focus and lamented the need for a cinematographer - "one who has the 'persistence of vision' of the motion (big) picture; he has the unique ability and responsibility to assure that the beginning, the middle, and the end..." - Having an agent, and quite frankly, thee premier agency  Courtney Davis Inc. is indeed like having a personal cinemaphotographer overlooking and managing my work product. In keeping with the movie analogy, this group is an Oscar winner many times over.

I will keep you posted as to new projects, that's to say new Terri Conrad Designs' products that become available to the marketplace.

Exhale! Okay, I've been able to let out the  big news!  Thanks for sharing my in my joy.

Now on to the second bit of news - have you had the chance to pick up a copy of Home and Heart, by CK Media?  You must, must, must so you can see the fabulous photography, the staging of the featured designs, and more than anything to be inspired by the possibilities on one's own creativity.  They were so gracious and featured two 2-page spreads with my paper and designs.

I used my Sweet Charity collection and WorldWin cardstock to create these "Fresh From Heaven" baby essentials.  Would you like kits made available for purchase for these designs?

Finally, I do have some VERY BIG NEWS to share, but I think it deserves to be announced on its own. Soooooooo, visit me again this week to be one of the first to hear :o)

Home and Heart and a Whole'lotta Gratitude

“Wake at dawn with a winged heart and give thanks for another day of loving.” Kahlil Gibran Emm, Kahlil Gibran is one of those great men, with whom, given the chance I'd love to sit and enjoy conversation with.  If ever you have the opportunity to read any of his writings, you will be grateful for having done so. Who would you invite to lunch given the opportunity?  Albert Einstein is another one of my favorites...brilliant, insightful, eccentric...   Just outside a rather large window in my studio, a mama bird is feathering her nest.  We've been in our home for a year and a half - the nest was here when we arrived, it was home to some hatchlings last spring, and apparently will be so this spring. Spring is my very favorite time of year - it issues forth filled with untold possibility, and that excites and invigorates me.  It represents HOPE to me, and good gracious girls, where would we be without hope? My brand new "Feather Your Nest" Collection for Webster's Pages is being shipped to retailers accross the globe as we speak.  I am so excited about this collection and can't wait to get my own hands on the product so I can begin designing with it.  You too?  Once you do design something, pleeeeeease share.  I so enjoy seeing how each of you interpret the product. Please indulge me for a moment while I express my gratitude, giving flight to my little o'l winged heart - (fly girl, fly!) - I have worked very, very (okay, did I say VERY!) hard, facing seemingly insurmountable obstacles along the way, and now, NOW I am beginning to see the sweet buds of some soon to be delicious fruit as a result . . .first, here's a set of giclee canvas prints, that if you could see inside my heart, it might look a little like this:

Like the little winged bird feathering her nest, I know that while this is REALLY exciting, (and not to be morose - sorry) there's a big hungry bird around the corner who can swoop in without notice and take it all away...so I balance this moment with deep gratitude and humility.  Nevertheless, I will continue to feather my nest, day by day, piece by piece, trying to create a place of warmth for my winged heart to perch, and a place from which to fly. A New Day, a New Thought, and a New Earth!

Hello Friends,

BIG exhale . . .I've missed you.  I've missed writing to you, sharing with you, and mostly hearing from you. 

I needed a respit to rethink and reorganize the suchness of life and thank you for your patience while I do so.

Spring is quickly approaching and not too soon to plan a garden par-tea with my Vintage Home collection of papers and designs. 

While at CHA I had the privileged opportunity to peek at the mock up of the soon to be released spring issue of Home & Heart Magazine by the creative people at CK Media, with the brilliant project management of Kelley Lindberg.  Equally privileged is the opportunity to have not one, but two 2-page spreads featuring both my Vintage Home and Sweet Charity paper collections and my concept designs for a lovely garden par-tea, and fresh from heaven celebration of new life. 

Friends this magazine is simply stunning, from the design concepts, to the photo styling, to the photography and layout of the magazine.  Martha, pardon moi, move over girl!  Run to your closest Barnes & Noble, bee line your sweet self to the magazine section, pick up a copy for yourself and a girlfriend - then go get your cup of Starbuck's and sit, sip & savor the beauty.  I understand the issue will be released on March 18. You will be inspired.

I don't recall where this image came from, but it's devine isn't it?  Seems every where I look I am seeing signs of feathering your nest.  I got a glimps of my prepress proofs recently of my new Feather Your Nest paper and product and oh my, my.  I hope you'll visit here to place your order for little pretties like
