Terri Conrad Designs' NEW Print & Pattern - just a peek

OMG!  I envision this as my newly redecorated bedroom...

The positively luscious robin's egg blue wall paper . . .that's mine!  I cannot express enough how good it felt to paint again. I simply must, must make a committment to do so as often as possible. Technology is terrific, but painting is oh so sweet.

Soon, this paper will be yours too, thru my license with Webster's Pages.  To view Webster's Pages '08 Catalog and see my print & pattern up close click Webster's Pages then click on view catalogBrandin O'Neill, my friend and licensing partner, has under amazing circumstances designed this work of art we call a catalog.

My new "Feather Your Nest" collection is available to see, touch, and order at CHA (Webster's Pages' booth - 2369).

I wish you all could be there, it is a sensory experience to remember.

For those of you who will be there, I look forward to meeting you.

Retailers, manufacturers please feel free to call on me while there - we most certainly must meet!

While I cannot share pictures yet, I can share with you that I have some product designs near and dear to my heart being featured in the upcoming "Home & Heart" (formerly Homegrown Hospitality) by CK Media.  Look for my Sweet Charity collection of papers in these concept designs, lot's of keepsake treasures, including albums, wall decor and baby's essentials designed with my Whispers of Wisdom philosophy.  These designs are infused with all my gifts: art (my paper), writing (my message), and design (my product) which will soon be available to purchase on my web site.

Finally, please look for the next issue of ME Home Companion (only the most positively Fabulous! magazine in publication) for Webster's Pages' gorgeous ad featuring my new product - it's magnetic, mesmerizing MUST HAVE IT RIGHT NOW magnificent.

Oh, and ok, now really, finally . . .what makes everything I do possible, and is my complete muse and inspiration . . .these two precious little girls

I love you snickerdoodle and sweet pea. xoxoxo

I'm off now until my return from the show late next week.

  Have a fabulous! week.

May miracles sprinkle upon your garden today and every day.

xoxo

Focus on Fulfilling Your Goals!

In absence of clearly defined goals, we become strangely loyal to performing daily acts of trivia. Author Unknown

Isn't this the truth!  There is so much written about the fact that if we are not following our own path, fulfilling our own goals, living our own defined purpose - we are indeed doing all of the above on behalf of someone else, for their benefit!  Yikes!

My bestest friend in the whole wide world (who loves me in spite of who I am - hehe) and I have been sharing recent talks about the direction of our respective business ventures, the absolute necessity of goal setting, having a vision, personally and professionally, and not simply aspiring, but reaching, living, eating and breathing realized dreams.  It's possible - many before us have done so and are currently doing so.  Easy?  No, not at all.  Here's just a peek at what I have set before me today - I have found that if I do not write my goals down, place them before me, and work to fulfill them, one by one, I end up spending my day, my very precious time, frivilously, on trivial this & that.  Oh, I will accomplish things in that manner, but are the things I accomplish those that move me in the direction of my vision for my business?

As creatives it is quite challenging to pull focus. I wrote about this topic here. As I read the opening sentence of that post, I am reminded that I need to seek God (my  Cinematographer who has the BIG PICTURE in mind - He has the "persistence of vision" for my purpose) first not last as I did when I typed up my goals for the day today.  Hmm, there's something to think about.

It's a challenge working and being a mother, and wife, and oh, an individual. For those of you who work in or outside of your home, and family life, how do you integrate it all?

I shared a chat with Celeste Rockwood-Jones this weekend (with a beautiful baby fresh from Heaven added to her life), and I simply said, "guilt is the norm;"  guilt at not being able to give my girls more undivided attention.  On the flip side, I do get to work from home, and while I occassionally imagine having a retail/artsy place for women to gather and me to set up another studio, I relish having all I need here, in the comfort of my home (okay, truth be told - I'd LOVE another 1000 square feet of studio space, but still at home!)

Of the many things I hope to accomplish today is just this, updating my blog, including the official announcement of our current Fabulous! Featured Designer

Nancy Jones over at that's Nancy with a Jones designed this delish layout featuring her sweet Bella with my Parlor Collection Designer Papers (Webster's Pages)

Nancy, your choice to cut out the flowers and wrap Bella in them is beautiful.  Pearls are a favorite accent of mine too  (look closely in each flower).  Great job Nancy.  We are all eager to see more so I can place them in the FABULOUS! Featured Designers' Album.  CONGRATULATIONS NANCY!  Please visit Nancy's blog and tell her how  Fabulous! she is.

Are you Fabulous!? Leave a post with a link to pictures showing your designs with Terri Conrad Designs' Webster's Pages product and you will be considered.  The first Friday of each month we will celebrate your creativity and you will be our Fabulous! Featured Designer. Something special will also be mailed to you (Lori Gentile and Becky Heisler your blog candy is on its way - thank you soooo much for being patient - I *heart* you both).

Now for those of you looking for that one something very special for that one someone very special for Valentine's Day give them a piece of your heart with this scrumptious kit: "Pieces of my Heart" designed with my Classical Garden designer papers.

This kit is filled with delicious velvet, satin, glass baubles, wire, wood, twigs, paper, canvas - oh so many elements - truly a textural, sensory filled design.  Click here to buy now and we'll ship today.

Well all, I'd love to stay and chat, I must, however, challenge myself to stay focused so I end up where I want to be and not someplace else when the day is said and done.

Hmm, the washing machine just completed it's cyle, breakfast dishes remain unwashed, and there's several more loads of laundy waiting, waiting, waiting . . . these items somehow, mysteriously seemed to elude me and did not make it to my list today (and it's officially 10:17 a.m.).  Think I need a Starbucks!

Push on we must -

More later in the week...squishy hugs to all.

Hannah Mania! I want to be a Rock Star!

Img_1454 It began with a concept - the Hannah Montana, Miley Cyrus Concert Movie in 3-D and a little girl whose mom needed to plan a memorable birthday party for a very special girl who just turned 8!  It was GREAT!Img_1459   My husband and I along with 4 girls shared a terrific lunch, then drove to Hollywood to the El Capitan theater.  OMG!  So many little girls and Hannah Montana.  What a show. That's Katelyn, my little rock star, in the yellow, and my eldest, Jessica (who's playing it too cool to be a fan) w/out the hat - she's a month shy of 11, it's the age ;o)

We screamed, hooted & hollered all believing we were at the concert.  On home to enjoy delish chocolate cake, presents and to play the part of rock stars.  Too much fun!  LOVED it.  Certainly something I hope Katelyn and her friends will remember for a long time to come.

On to other things we LOVE . . . "Feather Your Nest" is my latest assemblage art design. This piece is available for purchase on my web site under Artisan Gifts.

We haven't overlooked our FABULOUS! Friday Featured designer . . . I'm waiting for an email from Nancy Jones, with a link to her pics.  Once I receive those the official announcement will be posted.

Hereafter, it's been decided that we will feature a FABULOUS! designer on the first Friday of each month.  While I would love to have each and every Friday dedicated to FABULOUS! time is a funny thing, that seems to just run away from you - and as a girl who wants to do it all, I have to concede that there's just so much of me to go around, and around and around.  So keep designing with my Webster's Pages products, post here with a link to your blog showing your designs, and you could become the next FABULOUS! Friday Featured designer . . . I'm in the midst of developing a few questions for each designer to respond to as well.  You know, it's a process - always evolving.

Please pass the word on message boards and to your friends to  "show me the designs!"

Happy Sunday All - more soon.

Hugs,

Terri
